To L.E.A.D

Leadership these days, is a continuous, dynamic state of motion. To truly lead in a world that refuses to stand still, it isn’t about having all the answers, but about having the courage to ask the right questions, rally the right people, and disrupt the status quo when it no longer serves...

Once, as leaders, we were expected to be thy 'font of all knowledge' and have little in the way of a heart nor grace. To be the all 'authoritative one' was likewise expected.

Thankfully - times have changed, albeit in some workplaces and with it comes a gorgeous new narrative.

The 4 Pillars of Modern Leadership

The Infinite Loop

This narrative is not a linear ladder to be climbed once and forgotten. It is an infinite, self-sustaining loop. The moment a leader successfully disrupts an industry, an organisation or concept, a brand-new landscape is created.

We dare ask then, what must a leader do when standing on entirely new ground? They must sit down, clear their head, and prepare to learn all over again - alongside their team and alongside their stakeholders. New missions, new projects, new people, new solutions - cyclic and forever evolving, are all in the mix.

Jerudong International School

Here's where FreshAz Education 'cut' it's teeth so to speak. FreshAz's director was just 29 years old when landing in Brunei.  Leadership roles scored,  jumped to whole new levels. Think NZer. Think UK curriculum. Think Key Stage 2 - Coordinator. Think new school, new complexities. Paradigm shifts for Royal Locals and International High Commission kids - out with the rote learning, in with blended NZ & UK curricula. Leading - because 'scouts'  deemed a 29 year old's skills were key to change. Quite intriguing really!
